Natural Pet Food Manufacturer Expands HQ in Tewksbury

A family-owned manufacturer of natural pet food is expanding its Tewksbury headquarters to accommodate a workforce expansion.

WellPet leased 35,108 square feet at 200 Ames Pond Drive and said it’s planning to expand its commercial, innovation and customer marketing teams. The company currently has 130 employees based at the pet-friendly offices, which WellPet has occupied since 2008.

WellPet’s products include the Wellness, Holstic Select and Old Mother Hubbard pet food brands.

McCall & Almy’s John Dolan and Rob Glor represented WellPet in its lease negotiations with landlord Tritower Financial. JLL’s Brian Tisbert and Peter Richardson represented ownership.
