NaviNet, a healthcare communications network provider, recently moved into 65,000 square feet at 179 Lincoln St. in Boston, bringing the building to more than 90 percent occupied.
Initially constructed at the end of the 19th century, 179 Lincoln St.’s 220,000 square feet occupies a full city block overlooking the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway.
The property achieved LEED Silver rating after being renovated by New York-based developer Millennium Partners, and received the Preservation Achievement Award for the Best Adaptive Use of Historic Industrial Space from the Boston Preservation Alliance.
"We are truly pleased to be able to call 179 Lincoln St. home," said Bradley J. Waugh, president and CEO of NaviNet. "We consider this fully restored, sustainable historic building to be in a prime location with excellent tenant amenities and superb transit and roadway access for our employees."
"A lease of this size … is a testament to the building and an overall positive sign for the real estate market in Downtown Boston," said Millennium’s Joe Larkin. "We are delighted to welcome another innovative company to 179 Lincoln."
