NaviNet, a real-time healthcare communications network company, has moved to 65,000 square feet at 179 Lincoln St. in Boston.
The company moved from Cambridge’s Kendall Square. In its new location, NaviNet will occupy the lower level, first, and second floors of the building. Approximately 43,000 square feet of the space is new build-out on the second floor, and includes private offices, conference rooms, and open office space for more than 200 workstations. The remaining spaces on the first floor and lower level are being occupied with minor modifications.
Vision 3 Architects of Providence, R.I., completed the design for NaviNet’s new space.
"Given the historic nature of the building, specific design constraints were followed. With some of the space being occupied nearly as is, we paid particular attention to link the new space with the old through similar design features, finishes and colors," said Henry Cugno, vice president of interior design at Vision 3 Architects. "Our firm enjoyed collaborating with NaviNet, to create a design that conveyed appropriate elements for the rapidly growing healthcare communications company."
