Needham Bank Brings BofA Alum On Board As Commercial LO

Canton resident Douglas H. Ashworth has been named a commercial loan officer at Needham Bank, working out of the bank’s main office in Needham.

Ashworth has more than ten years experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management and operations. Before joining Needham Bank, he served as a commercial lending analyst for Norwood Cooperative Bank. Prior to that, he was a commercial real estate lending specialist in the homebuilder division of Bank of America in Waltham.

Ashworth received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Vermont and a certificate in commercial real estate finance from Boston University.

"[Ashworth’s] knowledge and experience in commercial real estate lending will be a great addition to our fine team of professionals and to the continued success of the bank," Needham Bank President Jack W. McGeorge said in a statement.
