Needham Bank has established a Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund, with donations being made to the American Red Cross for relief effort.

Donations can be made in person at any of Needham Bank’s five locations in Needham, Dedham, Medfield, Wellesley and Westwood. The bank will also hold an internal campaign for donations from employees.

Needham Bank will match all public and employee donations contributed to the relief fund up to $5,000, according to a statement.

"Our hearts go out to the people of Japan during this time of crisis," said Jack W. McGeorge, president of Needham Bank. "It is our hope that this effort will help to ease some of the grief these spirited and resilient people are currently experiencing."
