Needham Bank has named Wellesley resident Scott M. Bock to its advisory council, a board comprised of community and business leaders dedicated to positively representing the bank and promoting its development.
For nearly 30 years, Bock has been the president/CEO of Riverside Community Care headquartered in Dedham, coined one of the largest community-based behavioral health and human service organizations in Massachusetts, serving more than 15,000 people in 70 communities each year.
Bock, who holds a master’s degree in education, is a registered lobbyist with the commonwealth of Massachusetts; as such he works with state government officials to develop and implement compassionate policies for healthcare and human services.
In addition, Bock is a writer and has published more than 150 feature articles on music, appearing in publications in four countries.
"We’re more than pleased to welcome Scott to our Advisory Council and look forward to his contributions as a member of the Needham Bank team," said Jack W. McGeorge, president of Needham Bank.
