A new brokerage has opened its doors in East Boston’s Orient Heights section, aiming to help first-time buyers and real estate investors.

Seth Williams launched Reference Real Estate in late 2020 after a stint at independent Winthrop brokerage Ledge & Young. Reference Real Estate opened its first brokerage office with 10 agents this month, the company said in an announcement.

“It’s remarkable the growth we’ve experienced in the last couple years. Now, in early 2022, we have officially made a move and started Reference Real Estate,” Williams said in a statement. “After almost a decade in the real estate industry, I knew I wanted to provide a level of client service that was both educational and as stress free as possible for all involved. We do that by providing expertise in exactly the areas where our clients need it, but also by integrating the latest and greatest technology, making our client’s purchase or home sale as efficient and financially successful as possible. Everything we do has a renewed focus on the client.”

The company also plans to offer sellers general contractor services to help make their home ready for market, its announcement said, from light renovations and electrical, to installing new countertops, via a network of “high-end vendors.”

Reference Real Estate plans to serve East Boston, Winthrop, the North Shore and the South Shore.
