Braintree-based general contractor Integrated Builders has been awarded a contract to build a lab for medical technology company Valeritas at 800 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury.

Valeritas is headquartered in Parsippany, N.J. and has offices in Shrewsbury.

The lab will include 2,000 square feet of space and will house a modular clean-room, according to Integrated Builders.

Last year, the firm completed a 20,679-square-foot tenant fit-up for Valeritas at the same facility. Integrated was hired by the landlord, Vinco Properties, for the tenant fit-up job as well as for the repositioning of the 50,000-square-foot building.
