Rachel StewartRachel Stewart, assistant vice president of marketing at Framingham Co-operative Bank, has been elected president of the 2009/2010 board of directors at The New England Financial Marketing Association (NEFMA).

In addition to leading the bank’s marketing, public relations and business development efforts, Stewart is administrative director of the Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation.

"During her career, Rachel has succeeded in a variety of roles across the banking industry," said Susan Nelson, outgoing president of the association and vice president of marketing at HarborOne Credit Union in Brockton. "Her rich experience means the members of our organization will benefit from someone whose vision extends beyond marketing. In addition, she has a proven track record as a leader, so we expect a great year for our members under her direction."

Stewart joined Framingham Co-operative Bank in 1999, with more than two decades of banking experience. Her financial services background includes managing retirement accounts and SBLI insurance sales, and she holds both insurance and long-term care licenses.
