Six local women were recently the recipients of the New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE) 2011 Achievement Awards.

"This is the 13th year NEWiRE has celebrated the achievements of members who have made significant contributions to NEWiRE, the Greater Boston real estate industry and our community," said NEWiRE President Joan Parsons. "The NEWiRE members we honor are exceptional women. They are our colleagues, our role models and our friends who play a critical role in carrying out NEWiRE’s mission: to advance women in the commercial real estate industry."

The following awards were given out:

• Esprit de Coeur Award: Robin Davis, principal of Megansett Advisors
• Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Jennifer Pinck, president of Pinck & Co.
• Leadership Award: Kathryn Cochrane Murphy, partner at Krokidas & Bluestein LLP
• Suzanne King Public Service Award: Elizabeth Gruber, senior vice president of community development for Bank of America
• Professional Service Award: Ileen Gladstone, vice president at GEI Consultants
• Networking Award: Wilber School Apartments
