The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology will renovate its new campus on Wells Avenue in Newton with a $3.5 million tax-exempt bond and a $1 million tax exempt lease issued by MassDevelopment.
In addition to renovations, the bond will be used for furnishings and equipment at the 51,000-square-foot campus. Renovations will convert space into classrooms, meeting areas, a library and offices for faculty and staff.
RBS Citizens purchased the bond and RBS Asset Finance purchased the lease, according to MassDevelopment.
The MSPP was founded in 1974 and offers advanced degrees and certificates. Its curriculum includes an academic program, as well as "intensive, supervised clinical practice."
