Margulies Perruzzi Architects has been selected to provide site selection and interior design services for Nitsch Engineering, a Boston-based civil engineering firm.
Nitsch recently signed a lease for 18,000 square feet of space on the fourth floor of Two Center Plaza in Boston.
A women-owned business enterprise (WBE) founded in 1989, Nitsch has outgrown its current space at 186 Lincoln S.t in Boston and prefers an open, single-floor layout to allow for greater collaboration and communication among its more than 70 employees, according to a statement.
Margulies Perruzzi Architects and tenant broker Colliers International were selected to help Nitsch evaluate the new site. Margulies Perruzzi Architects will provide interior office design services for the project, which is slated for completion in December 2012.
"Client relationships are very important to Nitsch, and we chose carefully when it was time for us to be clients ourselves," said Lisa Brothers, president and CEO at Nitsch Engineering. "The designers at Margulies Perruzzi Architects demonstrated that they understood our business, our values, and how we work. We are delighted to collaborate with Margulies Perruzzi Architects as we embark on the design of our new home."
The landlord for Two Center Plaza is Equity Office Properties. Diversified Project Management is the owner’s project manager, and RM Environmental Consulting will handle LEED consulting.
