Lowell’s NMTW Community Credit Union (NMTW CCU) recently sponsored the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (MSPCA) 8th annual "Tour de Pooch and Pals" Spin for Animals which raised more than $24,000 for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen.

"The Spin for Animals event is a cornerstone of the MSCPA’s fundraising efforts and one that we are happy to support it," said NMTW Community Credit Union President/CEO Ken Del Rossi. "The MSPCA works tirelessly to help animals in need and we have seen the results of that work firsthand by volunteering and supporting their events throughout the year."

The fundraiser, which took place at five local health clubs, will benefit the 7,000 plus homeless animals that Nevins Farm staff members care for regularly.

"We are grateful for the support of NMTW Community Credit Union," said MSPCA Community Outreach Coordinator Heather Robertson. "With their sponsorship, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of animals that so desperately need another chance."
