Blue State Digital LLC, a leader in online fundraising, advocacy, social networking and constituency development programs for nonprofit organizations, political candidates and corporations has moved one block over from its Fort Point location in Boston.

The company leased 8,668 square feet at 280 Summer St. It was formerly located at 374 Congress St.

BSD worked on the Obama for America campaign, which "utilized BSD’s online fundraising, constituency-building, issue advocacy, and peer-to-peer online networking tools to mobilize more than 3 million individual donors to contribute more than $500 million online," the company said in a press release.

Jascha Franklin-Hodge, CTO and founding partner of BSD, said the increase in office space "absorbed by BSD demonstrates the company’s plans to grow during a lagging economy."

Brendan W. Miller, an associate at Lincoln Property Co., represented the tenant in the transaction.

"Brendan Miller worked closely with BSD to understand our office space needs," Franklin-Hodge said. "He helped us secure a space that not only accommodates our rapid growth, but gives us exactly the kind of office environment we sought for our staff and clients."

Bryan Sparkes of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the sub-landlord, Razorfish LLC, in the transaction.
