Normandy Real Estate Partners has sold the new TripAdvisor headquarters at 400 First Ave. in Needham to an affiliate of U.S. Realty Advisors LLC for $133.2 million.

TripAdvisor is relocating to the just-completed six-story, 280,892-square-foot headquarters alongside Route 128 from 141 Needham St. in Newton. The new headquarters is located within Center 128, a new mixed-use development with a potential buildout of 740,000 square-feet of office space, a 128-room Marriott Residence Inn and two garages.

Construction began in November 2013 on the online travel site’s new facility, which will house nearly 2,000 employees including 400 new hires.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Griffin, Edward Maher and Matt Pullen represented Normandy in the transaction. Managing Director Jay Wagner and associate Timothy Hosmer placed the acquisition financing with a national life insurance company.
