Filene’s and Columbus Center get all the good ink. But the commercial downturn has iced dozens of construction projects in Boston – from small-scale condo conversions to ambitious projects with price tags north of the half-billion-dollar mark.
So stop gawking at the pit in Downtown Crossing. Dry your tears for that unfinanceable boondoggle over the Pike. And have a look at some of the other buildings that won’t be coming along any time soon.
