Julia Nugent has joined Cambridge-based HMFH Architects as a senior associate.

In this new role, Nugent will play an integral role in expanding HMFH’s expertise in higher education and campus planning, according to a statement. Nugent, who has more than 20 years of professional experience, has focused on college and university facilities and campus master planning assignments for clients such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts State College Building Authority.
