The House of Spices recently purchased the single-story, 11,890-square-foot building at 45 Sword St. in Auburn for $650,000.
John L. McKinley and Paul A. Matt of Kelleher & Sadowsky Assoc. of Worcester were the exclusive listing brokers for a property. The building was owned by the Sword Street Trust.
The new site will replace the House of Spice’s leased space currently located on Stafford Street in Worcester. The site will headquarter the company’s regional warehouse/distribution operation.
The New York-based company supplies Indian foods and spices to restaurants and markets. After updates and modifications, the company plans to occupy the new facility by late summer or early fall.
