Wood Partners, a national apartment real estate firm with local offices in Concord, is the developer, and Pro Con Inc. is the architect and general contractor for the $13.5 million project. Wainwright Bank & Trust Co. of Boston is providing the project financing.

The 154-unit project will have one- and two-bedroom units and one-bedroom units with dens. The apartments, ranging from 710 square feet to 1,041 square feet, will be located in three, four-story garden-style buildings.

As part of the project, Pro Con Inc. is managing extensive site work including utility infrastructure, roadways, drainage and landscaping. Site work for the project began in February and Pro Con has scheduled a phased completion of the project. The first building will be ready for occupancy in November and second and third buildings will be completed in January 2011.

Alta at Indian Woods is participating in the Massachusetts New Homes with ENERGY STAR program. Conservation Services Group of Westborough is collaborating with Wood Partners to ensure the project is designed to reduce energy consumption, according to a statement.
