ORT Patent Law, a local law firm specializing in intellectual property, has leased 10,600 square feet of Class A office space at 321 Summer St. in Boston’s Seaport district.
The law firm, previously located at 10 Fawcett St. in Cambridge, relocated to take advantage of the area’s more favorable rents and innovative culture, ORT Patent Law said in a statement.
Dan Sullivan, Adam Subber, Rick Lowe, and Brandon Leitner of Cresa Boston, a commercial real estate advisory firm, represented ORT Patent Law.
Subber said in a statement that the move represents “an increasing trend, with many Cambridge-based companies considering relocation to Boston and the suburbs as a result of very tight vacancy and rising rental rates in East Cambridge.”
Bill Crean of CBRE New England represented the landlord, Normandy Real Estate Partners.
