The Parthenon Group, a global strategic advisory firm, has signed a 46,000 square foot lease at 50 Rowes Wharf in Boston.

The company will occupy office space on floors five and six. It is moving from its current location at 200 State St., where it has been since 1994, according to a statement. Parthenon’s occupancy at Rowes Wharf is scheduled to begin in early 2013.

Jones Lang LaSalle Managing Directors Bill Barrack and Ben Heller represented the tenant. Landlord Equity Office Properties was represented in house by Managing Director of Leasing Andrew Maher.

"After carefully examining the factors that were important to Parthenon, Rowes Wharf met all of their objectives," Heller said in a statement. "The property has an upscale image, the solid ownership of Equity Office Properties, every amenity for their clients and employees, efficient and high-functioning offices, unique outdoor space, and the best views of the harbor and skyline."
