Braintree-based Peabody Properties Inc. has received $79,651 in MassHousing grants to support statewide programs and services for residents of affordable housing.
This is the 10th consecutive year that Peabody Properties Inc. has received Youth Resident Activities Program grants from MassHousing, a self-supporting not-for-profit public agency. The Youth Resident Activities Program grants provide funding for recreational, educational and cultural activities as well as employment opportunities, violence prevention and academic support to youth.
This most recent award is earmarked for Peabody Resident Services Inc., a division of the firm dedicated solely to the development of support services and programs for residents of affordable housing. This brings the firm’s cumulative grant total to more than $4.1 million.
Peabody Resident Services Inc. benefits more than 10,000 residents of affordable housing, annually.
