Haverhill’s Pentucket Bank has hired Christine Whittaker as a vice president of residential loan underwriting and secondary sales manager and Steve Jaskelevicus as vice president of commercial lending.
Whittaker has more than 20 years of experience in residential lending, according to a statement. She most recently was the vice president of retail lending at the NESC Federal Credit Union in Methuen.
"Christine brings a wide range of residential lending experience to this new position at the bank and I am confident that our customers will benefit from Christine’s extensive background and experience as we develop new products and heighten our processing efficiencies," said Scott Cote, president and CEO. "As we continue to grow, I am sure Christine will enjoy success with Pentucket Bank."
Jaskelevicus has 22 years of banking experience, according to a statement. He will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing commercial loan relationships throughout the bank’s Massachusetts market, as well as working closely with retail banking, mortgage lending and other areas of the bank to continue to grow deposits and specialized banking services.
"Steve is without a doubt an asset to our lending team," said Cote. "His strong lending background and his reputation for delivering high quality service makes him a perfect fit here at Pentucket and I know Steve will be successful in his new position. Steve also has an extensive background in commercial real estate lending and his expertise in this area will be another valuable resource for our bank."
