Webster Five Promotes Baar

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank recently announced the promotion of Melissa Baar to assistant vice president after working as collections manager for the past year. In her new role, she will manage the collection of delinquent installment loans and mortgage loans, represent the bank at foreclosures, submit active charged-off loans to third-party agents and provide guidance to the collections staff. Baar has 13 years of experience working in collections within the banking industry. Prior to joining Webster Five, she was a loan counseling assistant for six years and a high-end collections specialist five years prior. Baar currently serves as chair of the internal United Way committee at the bank.
Christopher Promoted To AVP, Store Manager

TD Bank has promoted Leanne Christopher to assistant vice president and store manager of the North Beverly branch. She is responsible for business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations. Christopher has 16 years of retail banking experience. She joined TD Bank in 2012 and was most recently store manager in Rowley. Previously, she was a branch manager at Sovereign/Santander Bank in Manchester.
TD Bank Promotes Morrell

John Morell
TD Bank has promoted John D. Morrell to vice president and retail market manager for the North Shore region, based in Burlington. In his new role, he is responsible for overseeing business development, sales management and employee development at 19 branches across the region. Morrell has nine years of banking experience. He joined TD Bank in 2010 as an assistant store manager. He most recently worked as the bank’s recruitment manager for New England.
Dion Joins Blue Hills Bank

Blue Hills Bank has hired Dave Dion as vice president and senior loan officer of its new Franklin loan office. Dion has spent the last 25 years working for NE Moves Mortgage as a senior loan officer and began his career at DeWolfe Mortgage as a loan officer.
“Our home lending division has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years and we are continually expanding both our product line as well as our geographic reach,” Bob Driscoll, senior vice president/residential and consumer lending, said in a statement. “We are fortunate to add another loan officer with Dave’s professionalism and proven track record for success in a market area where we have a strong local presence.”
GFCU Announces Promotion
Greylock Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Shenna Bradford to assistant vice president, e-commerce and contact center manager. Bradford has served as e-commerce and contact center manager since 2010 and will continue to manage those areas and is responsible for the e-service platforms. She volunteers as a financial tools teacher with Habitat for Humanity.

Additionally, she has been providing administrative and instructional support for Greylock’s newly expanded Member Educational Series. Chaves Appointed Regional Vice President

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England recently promoted Philip Chaves to regional vice president of the company’s Boston Metro Region. In his new role, Chaves will be responsible for the oversight and productivity of the company’s 15 sales offices in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton, Wellesley, Weston and the surrounding communities.
Most recently Chaves worked as co-manager of the company’s two residential offices in the Back Bay. He began his real estate career in 2001 and, prior to his real estate career, was a small business owner for 15 years. He is an active member of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s charitable foundation, and volunteers for numerous other organizations. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
Tierce Elected To GBAR Affiliates Committee

Regional Vice President of Wintrust Mortgage Amy Tierce has been elected chairperson of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR) Affiliates Committee. In her new role with GBAR, Tierce is responsible for ensuring that the committee meets its programming goals and business initiatives in the association’s strategic plan. Specifically, she will help administer the activities of the Affiliates Committee, facilitate discussion at committee meetings, and provide regular reports and present committee action items to the GBAR board of directors. Tierce has worked with GBAR for many years, in the past two of which she has served on the committee that she will be chairing.
