Holyoke’s PeoplesBank has made several key appointments.

The new appointments are as follows: Margaret M. Lenihan, first vice president of commercial banking; Mary J. Meehan, William Sullivan and Marian Poe-Heineman first vice presidents of commercial lending; Kathleen P. Mullin first vice president, credit risk manager; and Zhen Chen cash management officer.

Lenihan joined PeoplesBank in 2001 and has more than 25 years of banking experience. She previously served as vice president commercial marketing and product management. She holds a master’s of business administration from UMass Amherst and a bachelor’s from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.

A resident of Longmeadow, Meehan joined PeoplesBank in 2005 and has more than 30 years of banking experience. She previously served as vice president, commercial lending. She has a master of business administration from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree from Newton College in Boston. She serves on the community investment Committee of the United Way, the finance committee of the YWCA of Western Massachusetts, and as a board member of the Glenmeadow Retirement Community.

Mullin previously served as vice president, credit risk manager. She joined PeoplesBank in March and has more than 20 years of banking experience. She holds a master of business administration from UMass Amherst and a bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College in Boston. She is a member of the Legislative Healthcare Committee for the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, serves as a project reviewer for the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and is treasurer of the town of Amherst Sister City project.

Poe-Heineman, of Wilbraham, joined PeoplesBank in 2004 and has more than 25 years of banking experience. She previously served as vice president, commercial lending. She holds a MBA from Western New England College and a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. She currently serves on the YWCA board of directors and as a member of the finance and investment committees

Sullivan joined PeoplesBank in 2004 and has more than 20 years of banking experience. He previously served as Vice President, Commercial Lending. He has both master’s and bachelor’s degrees of business administration from Western New England College. Sullivan, of East Longmeadow, serves as first vice chair on the board of directors for Square One.

Chen, a Chicopee resident, joined PeoplesBank in 2006 and previously served as cash management specialist. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bay Path College in Longmeadow.
