Holyoke’s PeoplesBank has appointed Russell D. Fontaine, Michael E. Sugrue and Traci L. Gaynor as vice president of retail sales and service, internal control officer and branch manager, respectively, at its Springfield office.

Fontaine joins PeoplesBank with 18 years of retail and banking experience. He previously served as vice president, regional sales manager at Citizens Bank.

A resident of Agawam, Fontaine holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance from Westfield State College.

Sugrue of Holyoke has 12 years of financial and banking experience. He previously served as a principal examiner for the Massachusetts Division of Banks.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree from American International College.

Gaynor joins PeoplesBank with 12 years of financial experience. A resident of Springfield, she previously served as a banking center manager for the Royal Bank of Canada in Lilburn, Ga.
