The Architectural Team

Boston-based The Architectural Team announced an expansion of its leadership team via several promotions and hires:

• Architects Jay Szymanski, Gary Kane and Edward Bradford and Vice President of Finance William Moran have been elevated to principal.
• Meghann Van Dorn has been hired as director of interior design. She was previously a senior interior designer with Boston-based Dyer Brown Architects.

BayCoast Bank

Swansea-based BayCoast Bank has hired Sonia T. Couto as an assistant treasurer and the manager of its new Bristol, Rhode Island branch.

The bank also announced the promotion of Filomena F. Lopes to assistant treasurer and manager of its branch on Airport Road in Fall River.

Berkshire Bank

Boston-based Berkshire Bank has promoted Jason White to the role of executive vice president and chief information officer. White previously held a similar position at Willimantic, Connecticut-based Savings Institute Bank & Trust, which Berkshire bought in 2019.

Charter Contracting Co. 

Boston-based Charter Contracting Co. announced it has hired Mark Joyce as director of business development. Joyce was previously the business development director for an unnamed “national provider of environmental remediation and geotechnical construction solutions.”

Dedham Savings Bank

Dedham Savings Bank announced promotions on its mortgage team:

• Pauline Dzengelewski to vice president and residential loan officer.
• Diane Hutchinson to vice president and residential lending systems administrator.
• Cynthia Sullivan to vice president and residential loan officer.
• Elizabeth Paolini to assistant vice president and loan officer.
• Kyle Lewis to residential loan officer.

Hilco Redevelopment Partners

Boston-based Hilco Redevelopment Partners has hired George Needs as its new vice president of mixed-use development, and will be based in Hilco’s Boston office. Needs was previously a senior project manager of development at Boston Properties.

Leader Bank

Arlington-based Leader Bank has hired John Sergi as the senior vice president of its commercial lending division. Sergi previously held a similar position at Brookline Bank for 10 years.

Naveo Credit Union

Somerville-based Naveo Credit Union announced the promotion of Albert Pinho to senior vice president and senior lender.

Suffolk

Bosont-based construction giant Suffolk has hired Ralph Esposito as president for its Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Esposito was previously an executive at international developer Lendlease, where he oversaw the company’s construction business on the United States’ East Coast and was involved in New York City construction projects like the Sept. 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.

Webster Bank

Waterbury, Connecticut-based Webster Bank has promoted Executive Vice President Jonathan W. Roberts to head of retail banking and consumer lending.
