High-tech firm PoroGen Corp. will occupy 30,000 square feet of office, lab and manufacturing space at 35 Cabot Road in Woburn.

Now undergoing its third expansion in five years, the high-tech firm was originally housed in one of landlord Cummings Properties’ 800-square-foot incubator labs in Medford.

With its January 2013 move from nearby 6 Gill Street in Woburn, the venture-backed firm will nearly triple its footprint with Cummings.

Founded in 2005, PoroGen develops and manufactures membranes used during filtration, gas separation and chemical absorption.
