Waltham-based Vantage Builders Inc. has hired Mark Price as project manager. 

Price will be responsible for managing projects for the firm’s commercial, educational, medical, retail and life sciences construction clients.

"Mark has extensive experience that will be a direct benefit to our clients as he counsels them during their construction projects," John Connor, principal of Vantage Builders, said in a statement. "He has successfully completed projects – from tenant fit-ups to major, ground-up construction – for clients in a wide range of industries."

Prior to joining Vantage Builders, Price was a project manager at JDL Corporate Interiors, where he provided training and mentoring for the firm’s assistant project managers. Before that, he held project management roles with the Matthews Group and Commodore Builders. He has completed projects for clients including Bentley University, the New York Life Insurance Co., ARIAD Pharmaceuticals and Boston Properties. Price is an active volunteer with the Huntington Avenue YMCA’s Metro Boston basketball program.
