Pruyn Joins Northern Bank & Trust Mortgage Team

Sherry Temple Pruyn of West Newbury has joined Northern Bank & Trust Co. in Woburn as assistant vice president and residential lending officer.

Pruyn has more than 25 years of lending experience, most recently as senior loan officer with Eastern Bank, with special emphasis in areas including VA/HFA financing, Mass Housing and first-time homebuyer programs.

During her career, she has held lending positions with companies including Mortgage Financial Inc., Union Trust Mortgage Corp., JP Morgan Chase Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, Chase Manhattan Mortgage and BancBoston Mortgage Corp.

She has been a finance instructor at the ABC Real Estate Training School in Haverhill since 2006.

She is on the board of directors and serves as treasurer for Coastal Homebuyers Inc. in Newburyport, which provides workshops for first time homebuyers to obtain their certificate to participate in Mass Housing programs. She is also an affiliate member of the Greater Newburyport Board of Realtors.
