Reading Apartments Sell For $1.8M

A 16-unit apartment building in downtown Reading has sold for $1.8 million.

NAI Hunneman’s Carl Christie, Dan McGee and Henry Liber represented the sellers, Nancy and Eric Unsworth, and procured the buyer, 21 Sanborn St. LLC.

"This was an attractive asset that drew a multitude of offers from the investor community," Christie said in a statement. "A detailed marketing campaign to an extensive and exclusive investor list resulted [in] 22 tours just three days after going to market, and a competitive bidding process with the property going under agreement the day after that."

The building includes eight studios and eight one-bedroom units a half-mile from the MBTA commuter rail station.
