Reading Co-operative Bank Donates $1M To Its Charitable Arm

Reading Co-op Bank Logo Reading Co-operative Bank has donated $1 million to the Reading Co-operative Charitable Foundation in honor of the bank’s 125th anniversary.

The funds, which will be dispersed in $50,000 increments annually, will be used to support nonprofits, according to a statement.

"This donation illustrates our commitment to the community," said Reading Co-operative Bank President and CEO, Julieann Thurlow. "Our wish is that the foundation will be able to continue to support the organizations we have existing relationships with, as well as others as needs arise."
