Maryland-based CPA firm Reznick Group has hired James D. Naber as office managing principal and Peter Schablik as principal and financial services advisory leader in its Boston office.
Naber, who has more than 30 years of executive management experience, has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry which includes banking, investment management, hedge funds, insurance and capital markets, according to a statement. He previously provided services that included internal audit, IT audit, risk management, financial institution regulatory compliance and audit, tax and business process consulting.

"James’s extensive banking and financial services experience, and his knowledge of the New England business community will serve our Boston office clients well while helping Reznick Group provide more value-added services to regional and community banks."
Schablik, who has 23 years of public accounting industry experience, has specific knowledge of project management, risk consulting, information technology and internal audit outsource and co-source initiatives for regional and community banks, according to a statement. Before joining Reznick Group, he led integrated process, compliance and IT internal audits for regional banking clients.
