Rockland Trust announced the appointment of Kim McKenna to the new position of foreign exchange director.
In this role, she is responsible for all foreign exchange sales and operations for each Rockland Trust location throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She will play an integral role in increasing the bank’s international banking services, expanding Rockland Trust’s capabilities to serve businesses and consumers.
Rockland Trust is expanding its foreign exchange and international banking services to meet the needs of both business and retail customers. In addition to offering over-the-counter currencies for purchase or redemption, the bank provides international wire transfers, foreign denominated checks and hedging.
Prior to joining Rockland Trust, McKenna was principal of Forex Consulting Services, senior vice president of foreign rxchange Sales at Sovereign Bank, and vice president of foreign exchanges sales at Bank of Boston.
McKenna graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She is involved in the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Treasury Management Association of New England and the Association of Financial Professionals.
She resides in Pembroke with her husband and three children.
