Rockland Trust has awarded a grant of $10,000 to the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
Money from the grant will be used to support the chamber’s Business Education Center, which is used for hosting workshops, seminars and events. It will also help pay for the 2013 Legislative Breakfast, which connects state representatives with area business leaders to discuss local business and government matters.
The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce provides business people with resources to grow and improve, while advocating for the interests of businesses and people in the region.
"We are dedicated to helping businesses in our communities thrive, and the chamber is an invaluable resource for helping companies succeed," Paul Vickery, senior vice president of commercial lending at Rockland Trust, said in a statement.
