Elaina Romano has been named assistant vice president, sales and service manager at Cambridge Savings Bank’s Central Square branch.

In this role, Romano will be responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, developing staff and managing personnel, and day-to-day operations at the branch, according to a statement. Romano, a six-year banking veteran, previously held management positions at TD Bank and Citizens Bank.

"Elaina is a welcome addition to the Cambridge Savings team," said Greg Bowe, vice president, retail banking regional manager. "Her experience and enthusiasm will make her a great asset to the bank."

Romano serves on the board for the Central Square Business Association, is an active member of Cambridge Young Professionals and volunteers with the Red Ribbon Commission and Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House.
