Employees from Waltham-based RTN Federal Credit Union sponsored and served dinner to 80 men and women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham on July 30.

Bristol Lodge is an arm of Middlesex Human Services Agency in Waltham, which is a long-time sponsor group of the credit union.

Funds for the meal were contributed through the RTN Employees Community Outreach Committee. The committee is made up of RTN employees who contribute funds and volunteer to assist local organizations and charities.

“The Employees Community Outreach Committee is an ongoing effort that reflects the credit union value of community involvement,” Robin Hartnett, RTN assistant regional branch manager, said in a statement. “Employees who participate in this endeavor are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community in which we work every day, and help those in need.”
