Salem Five Bank has awarded $25,000 to 25 local nonprofit organizations.
The award money was a result of the proceeds from the annual Salem Five Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament, according to a statement. Each nonprofit received $1,000.
"Our goal is to help build a stronger community," said Joseph M. Gibbons, president and chief executive officer of Salem Five Bank. "With a tremendous contribution from our customers, community and employees, we are able to recognize these valuable community partners."
The organizations that received an award included:
