The Salem Five board of directors has added three new members to its executive committee, including longtime Heritage Bank director Donald S. Glass.

Along with Glass, the committee will be joined by Donald A. Sadoski and John A. Shea. The appointments follow the retirement of board members David H. Caldwell and Timothy J. Hunt.

Glass became a director at Heritage Bank in 1971. Salem Five acquired Heritage in 2006, and Glass became a director at Salem Five. He is president of the Salem Five Heritage Charitable Foundation.

Glass was also president of the New England League of Community Banks and the Savings Associations Executives.

Sadoski is a local dentist, and a graduate of Salem High School and the Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He has been a director of the bank since 1975.

Shea, a retired gastroenterologist, has been a director since 2005.

Caldwell and Hunt served on Salem Five’s board for 46 and 38 years, respectively.
