Salem Five Bank is offering a chance for five families to dine this summer with Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia in its "Dinner with Dustin" promotion.

Pedroia is a Salem Five spokesperson for its Gold Star Saver program, which focuses on making financial literacy fun, according to a statement. Five Salem Five winning families will be able to bring up to eight family members to enjoy an evening of dining and conversation Pedroia.

"Meeting kids and their families is one of the rewards of my job," said Pedroia. "My relationship with Salem Five gives me terrific opportunities to interact with fans and share my values, especially around sportsmanship and being smart with money. I can’t wait to meet the winning families and look forward to a great night later this summer."

Families can enter the contest by visiting one of Salem Five’s 22 locations and submitting an entry form. Families will be selected through random drawings every two weeks starting June 1.
