Antonio (Tony) Sanches of Freedom Credit Union in Springfield has been named the 2014 Affiliate of the Year by the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV).

The award, which is the highest accolade given to an affiliate member, recognizes one person who has shown outstanding service and devotion to the organization during the past 17 months in the areas of affiliate-related association activity, community service and business activity.

Sanches has been a member of the Realtor Association since 2007. He is a member of the Affiliate-Realtor Committee, and the Website ReDesign Task Force. He has been a presenter at the association’s Education Fair & Expo financing class and the Designated Realtorbreakfast. He has participated in association membership meetings, networking events and fund-raising events, including the annual benefit Golf Tournament.

Sanches is currently president of the Rotary Club in Ludlow, and has chaired its finance, website, membership and golf committees, and was instrumental in the creation of their 501-C-3 Charitable Foundation. He is also a corporator of the Ludlow Boys & Girls Club and an instructor for the Economic for Success program for Junior Achievement.
