Scituate Federal Savings Bank and The Hatch Mill Restoration & Preservation Group have each raised $12,000 in the 2010 Dollar for Dollar Campaign to benefit the Hatch Mill in Marshfield.

The Hatch Mill, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was constructed in 1759 and is the last remaining water-powered saw mill on the North River, according to a statement. The mill played an integral part of the ship building industry on the South Shore during the 18th century.
