Another Seaport District developer is partnering with a global brand to provide hotel-style amenities to buyers.

Developer Cronin Group has chosen Marriott’s St. Regis brand as the management company for a 22-story condominium tower at 150 Seaport Boulevard, which will be known as The St. Regis Residences, Boston. It’s only the second standalone multifamily project in the U.S. for St. Regis, which operates more than 40 hotels worldwide, along with a $100 million residential complex that broke ground this spring in Rye, New York.

St. Regis will provide concierge and butler service to the 114 condos in the Seaport. The tower will be built at 150 Seaport Boulevard following demolition of the Whiskey Priest bar and former Atlantic Beer Garden, with work expected to begin in late summer.

Construction was delayed by litigation filed by Conservation Law Foundation claiming the development would violate Massachusetts laws preserving public access to the waterfront. The case was settled in January after Cronin Group agreed to contribute $18.5 million toward a future waterfront park and enrichment activities on Boston Harbor for underprivileged youths.

Other developers in the latest wave of high-end condo developments in Boston are tapping the services of luxury hotel operators to elevate their ambience.

Cottonwood Management, developer of the 1.3-million-square-foot EchelonSeaport complex, selected Regent Hotel Group to provide services to the 447-unit condo segment.

Samuels’ & Assoc.’s 30-story Pierce Boston tower in the Fenway is using Luxury Attache concierge company to provide residents with a range of services from pet care to travel bookings.

And Cambridge-based developer Carpenter & Co. is partnering with Four Seasons Resorts on its 61-story One Dalton luxury condo tower under construction in Back Bay.
