Hartford-based commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm Servus Corp. has changed its name to RM Bradley Management Corp. and RM Bradley Brokerage Co. LLC, effective immediately.

The company said the name change is part of the its strategic plan to generate business growth from Metro Boston to Metro Washington, D.C., for its brokerage and property management divisions. The company currently manages more than 6.5 million square feet of commercial space and employs 90 people in three locations:  Hartford, Boston, and Fairfax, Va.

"Three years ago, Servus acquired RM Bradley, which provides real estate services from Boston to Washington, D.C. RM Bradley was originally founded in 1889 and has enjoyed a great reputation and significant name recognition in those markets," RM Bradley Chairman and CEO Richard Mulready said in a statement. "While SERVUS has always enjoyed a great reputation among clients, we felt that a name change to RM Bradley offered us additional opportunities to expand our business from Boston through the mid-Atlantic region."
