Ted Shediac Sr., a former chairman of the U.S. Trust board, has been hired as managing director at Boston Financial Management (BFM).

Shediac has more than 35 years of experience, including banking, technology, health care, consumer markets, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, according to a statement.

"We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Ted’s deep expertise and knowledge joining BFM," said Mike Brown, president.

"What impresses me most about Boston Financial is their people," said Shediac. "They are not your typical investment management firm. I look forward to adding my insight to the mix to help their clients."
