South Coastal Bank recently opened a loan production office in Worcester and appointed Mei Lee Welcom and Molly O. McCullough as branch manager and assistant branch manager, respectively, at the new location.
The new loan production office, located at 781 Pleasant St., is the bank’s first location in the area where customers can originate residential mortgages, according to a statement. The Rockland-based bank has locations in Scituate and Quincy.
As branch manager and senior loan officer, Welcom is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Worcester location. Welcom, the former owner of Navigator Mortgage, is a certified mortgage specialist, a licensed loan officer and a licensed mortgage originator.
As assistant branch manager and mortgage originator, McCullough oversees daily functions of the Worcester office, develops and maintains client portfolios and facilitates mortgage processes from application to closing. McCullough is also a licensed mortgage broker.
"It gives us great pleasure to announce our new Worcester loan production office and also to add Mei Lee Welcom and Molly McCullough as members of our South Coastal family," said Robert Fraser, president and CEO of South Coastal Bank. "Both Mei and Molly bring a remarkable wealth of industry expertise and a strong commitment to customer service to their roles at our new location."
