Sovereign Bank has appointed Kim Bushey as senior vice president and business banking executive for Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. In this role, Bushey and his team will be responsible for serving the needs of local businesses with annual revenue of $3 million to $20 million. He will be based in West Hartford, Conn.

Bushey joined Sovereign in 2006 and has held several roles of increasing responsibility. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry and is a current member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He lives in Hebron, Conn. with his wife and five children.
