Design and engineering firm Stantec will relocate its Burlington offices to a nearly 47,000-square-foot second-floor location in the Network Drive office park.

The second-floor space is being renovated to create a flexible open-format office. It will replace Stantec’s Burlington Woods office, one of the firm’s 12 in New England, when Stantec takes occupancy in the fourth quarter.

The building at 65 Network Drive was designed by Spofford, Fay & Thorndike, which Stantec acquired in 2015.

Peter Howe, Stantec’s New England regional leader, said in a statement that the location provides a central location near amenities. The Network Drive office park includes the 3rd Avenue shopping district, 140-room Archer Hotel and two apartment complexes.

JLL represented Stantec in its lease negotiations with landlord Nordblom Co. and its investment partner J.P. Morgan Asset Management, which were represented by Newmark Knight Frank.
