GEI Consultants Inc. has been selected by the state’s Department of Capital Asset Management to demolish Salem State College’s 128,000-square-foot library.
The engineering firm is to coordinate the library’s demolition and electrical relocation, and to prepare construction documents, GEI said in a press release. GEI will also install electrical equipment, build a temporary roadway, install new lighting for portions of the site and restore the faculty parking lot after demolition.
