State Street’s Perretta Named To InformationWeek’s Top 50 CIO List

Chris Perretta, executive vice president and chief information officer of Boston-based financial services firm State Street Corp., has been named to the InformationWeek Global CIO 50 for 2009.

The list recognizes the top CIOs from around the world as well as their respective companies based on market leadership, innovative IT-enabled business practices and results, and the achievement and impact of individual CIOs, the company said in a statement.

"Chris’ inclusion in the Global CIO 50 is a testament to his outstanding leadership and the importance of his commitment to aligning information technology with our customers’ needs," said Joseph L.
